Lourdes Leon, 19, is a daughter of music sensation Madonna and actor Carlos Leon.
5 years ago, Madonna and her daughter, Lourdes produced the teenage fashion brand Material Girl .The 1980s inspired clothing line, borrowed from Madonna’s punk-girl style when she rose to fame in the 1980s. Next year, Madonna announced plans of launching her own global lifestyle brand together with her daughter.
Last year, Lourdes has followed in the footsteps of her famous mother by attending her old college, The University Of Michigan. Despite the fact, that her mother has huge mansions, Lourdes lives on the campus with a fellow student in a tiny box room. Since she became a student, she’s dressing up casual and sporty styles, and looks like average student on campus. Lourdes enrolled in the School of Music, Theatre and Dance, attending classes in a free time.
The down-to-earth teenager has been using the nickname Lola, which her mother gave her when she was younger.
‘She’s not as sociable as many people would have thought and she couldn’t be more different from Madonna’s huge persona,’ fellow student said about Lourdes. ‘There’s no diva behavior or anything like that. She’s really aware how people might judge her and doesn’t want a bad reputation.’
