Nicki Minaj has a total of 15 alter egos. Her alter egos have more persona’s characteristics than alter ego’s characteristics but Minaj herself has stated that she call them her alter egos.
‘Nicki Minaj’ was originally her alter ego, but was later used as her stage name.
Minaj’s persona is larger-than-life and involves a cartoonish image and a voluptuous, over-the-top figure. In her mind, she was born to become ‘the saviour of rap,’ as she once declared in an interview long before she became an international sensation.
The alter ego Cookie was created to escape the troubles of her home life as a child.
Later, she created Female Weezy from Queens, and was represented as the female version of Lil Wayne.
The Harajuku Barbie is also from Queens. Often shortened simply to Barbie, is the name of one of Minaj’s longest lasting and most famous alter egos, particularly known for her soft voice.
Lap Dance Nika was created when she performed lap dances at Wayne’s tour and later retired when the tour ended.
Martha Zolanski is from Manchester. She is the mother of Roman Zolanski and an alter ego of Minaj. She is the godmother of Nicki and is a strict and traditional woman.
Nicki Lewinsky is one more Minaj alter ego from Queens. She is one of the most know alter egos of Minaj when she was an underground artist, and is known for her sexual lyrics.
Nicki Teresa from New York City, also known as The Healer. An alter ego, created to ‘heal her fans.’
Nicki the Boss is described as the ingenious austere business woman that always thinks outside of the box, who is never afraid to assert herself.
Nicki the Ninja is from Philippines and she is a hip hop lyrical assassin, whom is sometimes naughty.
Nicole is an alter ego from California. She is portrayed as a very sweet and bubbly, fangirl interviewer with a fancy accent.
Norman is male alter ego from Middle East, who makes appearances on UStream.
Point Dexter often shortened to simply Dexter, is one of Minaj’s alter ego who is creepy and a pervert.
Roman Zolanski is from London. Minaj’s most well-known and utilized alter ego, described as a blond homosexual male characterized as being far more outspoken and wild than Nicki herself.
Rosa is Latin American, created in an interview due to the Mexican origins of the host.
Tyrone is male alter ego, who is a crackhead from Harlem who raps in a detuned and erratic way.
